I was able to go on the May trip. It was my mom, Jasmine and me. I had so much fun working with the babies and toddlers. I was there when Ralph came in and his mom sat with him doing his hair while waiting to see if he could stay. She tried to give him to my mom and that was hard!! Then I was in the baby room when Robenson's dad brought him in. The mom had died and the dad couldn't keep him. The dad was crying and I took the baby from him. I didn't realize it was the dad. The baby was not feeling well from being in the sun all day.
My mom signed me up to wash clothes by hand because I complain at home about unloading the dryer. I haven't complained yet : )
I really wanted to go back and then the August trip came up and it worked out. I had just gotten back from Ottawa and it was the week before school so I wouldn't miss any.
Our plane left late from Miami but we had a really cool hotel room. It was larger than most which was good because there were 8 of us. It was cool to have our twins with us.
On Tuesday we went to the O. We went to baby 1 first. One of the babies was really fussy. It was the top middle crib on the far side of the room. I held her for a long time. Then we got Duckenson out and put him on the floor and asked for Robenson to see how he was doing since I was the first one to hold him in May. He was being bathed and then they brought him in and I put him on the floor with D.
They were very happy and energetic and were crawling under the activity seats. A lot of the team came in and took turns holding all the babies.
Then I went out and got my hair done. It felt weird and it felt like they were pulling my hair out. It was my 16th bd and I thot I might be bald.
We went back to the hotel and I took the twins in the pool.
The next day I went with the three guys--my dad, Jim and Todd to build tables. It was fun and Mr. Jim kept dancing with all the wash ladies!!
The next day I went on the trip to Fort Jacques and the Baptist mission. My brother Tyler went too but Dad, Adam and my mom stayed at the hotel with the twins. The Fort (which has no bathrooms??) was interesting but I like the Baptist Mission better because there was air conditioning : )
Friday was our last day there and we went to the O. This time wewashed laundry together--me, my mom, Adam (12) and Jasmine (6)--for over an hour. We did tons of clothes and also big sheets. My mom stood up and held them up and Adam and I wrung them. Then went into the toddler room. I had bubbles to play with. Sophia, Esther, Cherie, Angela, Barbara and Francesca and I think the new B twins all loved the bubbles. My brother Adam was playing ball with Juvenson, Angelot, Stanley, the "E twins" and some others.
They started Bible and prayer time and we stayed a while but left and went out back with the big kids. I drew hopscotch squares and most of the girls and one boy came over and knew how to play (sort of).
It was sad to leave the twins behind when we left the next day. I wanted to snatch them up and put them in my carry on.

Exploring Ottawa
Me and my Dragon went to Ottawa from July 27- Aug.6. Here are some pictures we took of the city. I'm sorry but my dragon did want to be in pictures because he was trying to explore everywhere.
The Market place in Ottawa.
