Guess I'm not very good about keeping up a blog. One of the things that happened this past year is that I got a puppy. He's part pug and part pekinese.

This is when I first met him. Scrappy went along to make sure they'd get along.

Now that we all know who is boss.

First Christmas.

He has to sleep with a stuffed animal. And he picks up things from all over the house and puts them in his kennel!

I haven't been on in a while so here's whats happened:

1. We got our twins home from Haiti after spending 36 hour and 20 min. in the airport.

2. I learned sign sign "Amazing Grace" by Chris Tomlin

3. I'm at FCWC with my mom.

Well there's more but I remember what right now.

I painted my brother Adam's room and we fixed it up.

My mom got me my graduation "bear" early because of a sale. The bunny's name is cinnamon.




My mom and I hung out at a hotel for a day and worked on some writing.

Iwent to cranio facial camp with my sister.

We had a dance lesson.

I got new skates this summer.

That's it for now. That's most of my summer. I'll do my senior pictures and start of my senior year next time.

My Mom's Books

I am going to post more about my summer but first I am going to post about two of my mom's books. They are both about the Bible.

Just for Me: The Bible is for ages 6-9. It has stories, rebus stories, activities, journaling, crafts, puzzles and more. It is really a fun book to do.

The Christian Girl's Guide to the Bible is for ages 9-12, or 3rd/4th-6th grades. It goes through the Bible section by section but more in depth than the easier book. It also has journaling, stories, crafts and more. Girls who read through the book will come away with a basic knowledge of what is in the Bible and what the major events are.

Consider reading through one of these books with your girls or using it as a girl's Bible study book for a small group.

These books are available at amazon.com and christianbook.com but I encourage you to check your local Christian bookstore first as many of them are struggling in these hard times.
